We purchased this lamp through Amazon.com even though it was available locally for the same price on "special order". Our local Sales Tax is about 10% so we were able to save that, and it was in stock at one of the Market Place sellers. Let me tell you, the delivery came the 2nd day via FEDEX, not the lower priced carriers.
Upon opening we found that the lamp was 98% put together, and all we had to do was place the bulbs and lightshades into place.
Upon turning it on, we were so satisfied, exhilerated, and fulfilled with our purchase, that we had to leave the lights on during the day to appreciate the beautiful effect it had on our Great Room.
Solid desgn, heavy "wrought iron" and base, we were expecting something much less exotic and stable than what we received. Totally Satisfied with our purchase!

I bought lamp to replace burnt out halogen lamp used to illuminate my cathedral ceiling. Started, of course, at Amazon. Came upon a "family" of lamps this style. I liked and bought the curved one. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged due to poor packaging. Replaced promptly by Wayfair. The lamp came poorly packaged again but not damaged. Once assembled and placed, it adds great ceiling lighting with a nice base design. I love the dimmer feature. Rated 4 stars because of packaging.
