Amazon has the list price wrong. These lamps do not retail for $2,000 so the discount/savings calculation is very wrong. I think the list is more like 400 on other sites. The other mistake is that the lamps do not come with any light bulbs. I took a star off for the missing bulbs and the misleading pricing. There was nothing wrong with the lamps themselves.
To be crystal clear, this item includes two matching lamps, not one. Each lamp has two sockets, one in the shade and one in the base. The one in the base uses a candelabra socket bulb. You can turn on either or both of the bulbs.
The box the lamps are shipped in is well designed (two lamps in one box). The lamps are not heavy. So, they arrived in perfect condition. The only assembly was to put the shade on.
