You do get what you pay for ... I chose not to spend $500+ for a good-quality Tiffany-style lamp, so was somehwat disappointed in this piece. The lamp is attractive, but is not as described. You should know that the shade measures only 15" across and is NOT glass but is instead a hard plastic / acrylic. I agree with the reviewer who said the colors are brighter than pictured, but it really depends on the light in the room. (And of course, the brighter colors shine through when the lamp is lit with the max 120 watts with 2 lightbulbs.) The lamp is also NOT "dimmable" as described; a toggle switch on the cord is either on or off. I purchased this as a reading lamp, but will use it as an accent piece; the "blue" light cast is not comfortable for reading. Kudos to Amazon's standard shipping, which I chose instead of free shipping. I ordered the lamp on a Thursday and received it 2 business days later.

Shade glass was NOT AT ALL as pictured; colors not subdued and sophisticated as on website, but extremely garish. Base looked super-cheap. But that's not the problem;I received an email from the seller suggesting that for the return fees they intended to clobber me with, I should just keep the lamp--THAT is NOT going to happen and I will never make another purchase from these yahoos.

This is a very nice looking lamp. If you are looking for a Tiffany lamp and want something different than dragonflies, this is definitely the way to go. Easily fits 2 energy efficient 60 watt bulbs. Shade covers direct light down to a 90 degree angle, so you can easily sit next to this lamp and read without having direct light in your eyes. Very sturdy and elegant base. May have to decorate our formal living room around this one.
